Wayfarers is a beautifully
landscaped adult only campsite in Penzance, tree lined park only minutes from some of the finest
beaches in Cornwall and a perfect place to stay for a tranquil
touring holiday. All the pitches are level and backed by
traditional Cornish hedging. Spacious, modern toilets and
showers with free hot water all maintained to a very high
standard. Facilities include an individual shower room for those
requiring assistance whilst showering, shaver points and a
hairdryer. The laundry room has washing and drying machines and
deep sinks with free hot water. The site shop carries a wide
variety of groceries, camping spares and gas. No clubhouse to disturb
the tranquillity but there are two excellent village pubs less
than one mile away. The site makes an ideal base to visit the
whole of West Cornwall or visit the wonderful Scilly Isles by
boat or Helicopter. Wayfarers Camping & Caravanning Park is only
two miles from the very beautiful beach and ancient market town
of Marazion. The site also benefits from night lights which give
a subdued light without compromising the atmosphere of the park. |

Welcome to our peaceful, countryside site on the edge of the village within walking distance to the local shop and bus stops. Adult only and dog friendly touring park. We are open from 1st March to 10th January the following year. There are 25 large level fully serviced pitches with outstanding rural views. Use of toilet and shower facilities. Our charges are based on pitch only or pitch with facilities. (£17 or £21 per night see website for full details) our tariff remains the same throughout the year. ALL PITCHES have electric, water and drainage. The site is surrounded by a network of footpaths and is close to the coast to coast cycle trail. Well situated to visit lands end or Jamaica inn Bodmin and beyond. We are about three miles southwest of Truro on the A39.

This unique site is an alternative for a couple who enjoy quietness, rest and relaxation with a personal touch, free from children and groups. We are open all year and welcome adults 18+ and well-behaved dogs in caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and trailer tents. Free Wi-fi on pitch and luxury heated shower/toilet block for those colder winter months, as we are open 365 days including Christmas and New Year. Rosebud Farm Touring Park is set in a rural location in the heart of Doc Martin and Poldark countryside, with stunning panoramic views that take in the summits of Roughtor and Brown Willy on Bodmin moor. Explore the golden sandy beaches, coastal and moorland walks or simply relax in one of the local pubs. The quaint village of St Teath is just a 15 minute walk, here you will find a General Store, Butchers, Churchtown Cafe and The White Hart Inn famous for their excellent food. The North Coast is lined with breathtaking villages including beautiful Boscastle. Tintagel is famous for its Castle, Legends of King Arthur and the Old Post Office (National Trust). We are close to numerous sandy beaches including Tregardock, Trebarwith Strand, Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Padstow for a must see fishing village and the spectacular Camel estuary is within a 20 minute drive. The site is set within 6-acres of well groomed grass. 50 pitches are positioned against the hedgerows with far reaching views across the Allen Valley to Bodmin moor. In the winter months only, we use hardstanding.

Sleep beneath the stars in
a Celtic chieftain’s roundhouse, this Hidden Hideaway is
an authentic replica of a Celtic chief’s thatched
roundhouse and is one of the only structures of its kind
in the World. It offers the chance to step back in time
into Cornwall’s distant Celtic past. An example of
experimental architecture, built for educational and
cultural purposes to help people understand how we used
to live. The Roundhouse is set in a private wooded
glade, and is just three fields away from the renowned
Bodrifty Iron Age Settlement, one of Europe’s most
important Iron Age sites. It was built in 1999 using
(mostly) the same techniques and materials its Celtic
builders would have used. The conical thatched roof set
on low granite walls and the well-stocked firebowl help
to create a wonderful illusion of stepping into another
time and place. There is simply no-where else in the
world where you can experience such a romantic way to
step back in time – but the roundhouse feels a long way
from sleeping out in the wild. You won't find a more
interesting and tranquil holiday break but its not all
history. The Roundhouse has been sensitively equipped to provide everything you
need for a comfortable and romantic stay, with luxurious
features including a giant sized Celtic Chief’s four
poster bed made from locally-felled green oak, a hand
pocket-sprung organic mattress, luxurious duck-down
duvets and soft organic cotton sheets. The Roundhouse
kitchen and bathroom treehouse is centred around a
magnificent tree that grows up right through the middle
of the structure. Inside you’ll find great features
including a hand built artisan kitchen, double-glazed
windows with great views, under-floor heating and a walk
in rainforest shower. |

If you like to camp on a
small, natural adult only campsite close to the beach,
then you will enjoy The Meadows. The Meadows Campsite is
the perfect place for a relaxing caravan, motorhome or
camping break. Well placed for visiting the Lost Gardens
of Heligan, Mevagissey, the famous Eden Project, Fowey,
and lots of other beautiful places with fabulous beaches
in South Cornwall. The campsite is in a beautiful valley
setting, a lovely sheltered sunny spot, with a stream
running along one side, and a wooded area. Fire-pits and
Smokey Joe BBQS are available for hire. Wifi - guests
can enjoy free wifi within the wi-fi zone. John’s hearty
breakfast baguettes are also on offer to start your day,
collect and eaten on the sunny deck, or have them
delivered directly to your unit. These are made with
local produce, with sausages and bacon from Lobbs Farm
Shop, and freshly laid eggs. There is also a small shop
in reception stocking essential items, including eggs
and local Cornish milk. The camping pitches are
informal, giving plenty of space to enjoy your camping
experience. All electric hook up pitches are
hardstanding grass pitches and suitable for all unit
