Devon Banks is a rural campsite exclusively for adults. Located right on the edge of Exmoor national park (dark skies) between Bratton Fleming and Challacombe in North Devon, a few miles drive from West Somerset. Devon banks likes to keep things nice and quiet, a place where you can relax and unwind. The campsite is full of nature with plenty of wildlife all around. Pitches consist of 5 hard standing pitches and during summer months there’s 5 grass pitches all with the option of electric. There’s no cramming in on this site as they only allow a max of 5/6 units at any one time. The campsite is suitable for; touring caravans, motorhomes, campers and trailer tents. (max unit length of 7.6m). A family run site ideal for those who need a relaxing break away. There will be no children running around screaming and shouting, just listen to the sounds of the birds and local wildlife. Devon Banks is a dog friendly campsite, dogs are welcome on this site and there’s a 3 acre fenced exercise area for off lead play.
Cycle route 3 is just 0.5 mile down our lane. There is also a bridle way just 300yrds down the lane that leads you towards Exmoor, or turn right out of our site along the quiet lane for more footpaths, perfect for keen walkers. Newly opened in 2017 and described as a Hidden gem. The Camping and Caravan parks main opening is March until end of October. 5 hard standing pitches and 5 grass pitches are available with electric, if the weather is suitable you may choose a grass pitch. Pitches are spacious with views of the North Devon rolling hills. Although rural the site is just 1 mile from an ‘A’ road, 3 major towns are just 20 minutes drive. 30-40 minutes and you’re at the coast and sandy beach of Woolacombe.

campsite set in 23 acres of native deciduous woodland,
situated in very rural West Devon - midway between Dartmoor
and the beaches of North Cornwall and North Devon.
Completely secluded, approached via a private lane, Hole
Station adult only woodland campsite features fresh clean
air, abundant wildlife and no light pollution. If you want
to spend the day chilling on site you won't be driven off by
youngsters being 'enthusiastic' and you can relax by your
campfire every night. Hole Station campsite provides a total
break from life in the outside world, a sense of
enchantment, set as it is in such beautiful Devon
countryside.
Bring Your Own Tent Or Rent A Pre Erected Tent
Hole Station Campsite offer you a pitch for your tent or the
option of renting a pre erected tent. So its up to you, camp
the traditional way we supply a pitch, you bring your own
tents and camping kit. Pitches are self selection, spread
throughout the wood, so the first thing to do on arrival is
to walk around and choose - yes, they all have campfire pits
on them. Alternatively Rent-A-Tent (pre-erected tents),
originally designed as an easy introduction to camping for
first timers, which it continues to be, but we now find it
is just as popular with seasoned campers. No packing and
unpacking marathons, no having to dry wet tents after a bit
of rain and so on. It really is just a question of turning
up, putting the kettle on and putting your feet up. What
ever you choose we think you will enjoy your stay at Hole
Station Campsite.

A tranquil and secluded site, the only adult only site situated in the Dartmoor National Park. We are pleased to accept caravans, tents and motorhomes up to 28ft (8.5M) and also offer camping pods. Not only are we a 5 Pennant Gold site but our toilet/shower blocks are award winning itself and offers disabled facilities. Our small shop on site has some of the basics and you can order fresh bread for the morning (not Winter). We have good access as we are only 1.5 miles from the A30.
