Caravan Park is a 5 star caravan park exclusively for adults only in
north east Somerset. The site offers basic and full serviced hard
standing pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Facilities on site include luxury solo bathrooms, laundry
facilities, WiFi, dog walk, disabled toilet, motorvan waste disposal
point, conservation area, tourist information and a large lending
library. A uniquely peaceful park, for adults only, based on a
garden theme, with caravans set amongst lawns, shrubs & flower beds.
The site is within 800 yards of a championship fishing lake & the
surrounding country park is a haven for bird watchers & walkers. All
pitches have electric hook up, the toilet & shower facilities are
heated and there is a utility room with ironing facilities and
service washes available. The park is close to Bath with its
historic spa & shops. Bristol & Weston-Super-Mare are within easy
reach & the site is an excellent base for exploring the Mendip Hills
& West Country attractions.

West Country Parks, Rodney Stoke Caravan Park is perfect for those searching for a quieter adult only touring camping site. Our small 26-pitch park is at the foot of the Mendip Hills between Cheddar and the Cathedral City of Wells. The famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves are less than three miles away. Other nearby activities include fishing, golfing, horse riding, sailing and cycling. There are also numerous supermarkets, doctors, vets and petrol stations close by for your convenience. The Rodney Stoke Inn lies just in front of our park and offers many delicious a la carte menu items and samples of West Country ales and ciders. A brand new utility and shower block is available from March 2020.
Casual tourers and campers have access to our hard standing and grass pitches that can be booked either with or without an electric hook-up.

The Exe Valley Caravan Site is for
adults only and it occupies an enchanting, peaceful setting in a
wooded valley within the Exmoor National Park. Set alongside the
sparkling River Exe, the campsite has beautiful views, and a
abundance of wildlife. It is a wonderful location for camping
and country loving folk.
The well maintained campsite covers 4 acres of level grass
between the River Exe and the owners mill stream. 47 pitches
have electric and TV hook-ups, and there are 14 hard standings.
Every pitch has ample space and enjoys its own section of the
bank beside the fast flowing clear water of the river or the
mill stream. A further acre of land is available for leisurely
strolls up to the weir and an area where dogs may run free and
splash in the river. Birds are in abundance with Kingfishers,
Dippers, Herons and Pheasants making regular appearances. The
beautiful planting of decorative trees, shrubs and confers blend
in with the natural wild flowers and deciduous self sown trees
along the river banks. Campers have observed from their caravans
the Red Deer drinking from the Exe early in the mornings. There
are many footpaths leading to the moors, woodlands and rivers
from the site.
The owners live on site in Bridgetown Mill, which dates back to
the 17th Century. Once a grist mill, it was used for milling
flour during the Second World War. The building is in good
repair and most of the mill machinery is in working order. The
mill is listed as being the largest on Exmoor, and is usually
open for campers to go inside on Sunday mornings. There is
plenty of interest nearby, including Red Deer and Exmoor ponies
roaming over heather-clad moors, crystal clear rivers or streams
full of wild trout and over 50 varieties of birds have been seen
on the campsite. The village Inn opposite serves lunchtime and
evening meals. The Exmoor National Park enjoys a wide variety of
good pubs and eating places. You will be well located at Exe
Valley to visit unspoilt villages, National Trust properties and
beautiful gardens. The scenic North Devon coast and Lorna Doone
Valley are also within easy reach.
